ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

This heavy King deck with powerful DON!! acceleration lets you play high-cost cards with strong field seizure effects. The common weak point of high-cost decks having weak defense can be covered with the Leader's draw effect to replenish your counters. With cards that support {Beasts Pirates} type cards, it's very stable.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

Increasing your DON!! cards to play high-cost characters is this deck's basic strategy. Begin by looking for cards that add DON!!
You'll want to place a high priority on getting "ST04-017 Onigashima," which gives you a continued supply of DON!! cards.

After playing "ST04-017 Onigashima," it will become easier to use the Leader effect of "OP08-057 King."
However, you should focus on gaining DON!! Cards in the early game, so don't use it too much until you build up enough.

Mid Game

The removal effects of "OP08-084 Jack" and "OP08-079 Kaido" will let you gain field control while removing opponent characters.
By pairing them with the Leader effect's cost-reduction, you'll be able to eliminate even higher-cost Characters.

If you use the [Activate: Main] effects of "OP08-084 Jack" and "OP08-079 Kaido" for removal, you can use your Leader effect to reduce cost after playing them, and then use their [Activate: Main] effect for maximum DON!! efficiency.
"OP06-076 Hitokiri Kamazo" can also be used this way to remove up to cost 4 Characters, making it a handy card for Counter +2000.

End Game

Add finisher cards like "OP08-119 Kaido & Linlin" while building your defense with the Leader's draw effect.
The Leader's draw effect can only be used when your hand has 5 cards or less, so counter from your hand to adjust its number.

"OP08-119 Kaido & Linlin" has an over-the-top effect that clears the field of all Characters.
If you play "OP04-083 Sabo" and use the effect while attacking, you can actually K.O. only your opponent's Characters!
Plus, if you play "OP08-074 Black Maria," you can take back all your lost DON!! cards for an incredible combo!!
