Concept

This "Marshall.D.Teach" deck negates its own [On Play] effects, using strategies that are markedly different from those seen in previous decks.
Use your Leader effect to negate your opponent's [On Play] effects, limiting their options while leveraging the K.O. effects typical of black decks to maintain control of the battle.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

"Marshall.D.Teach" is a Leader card whose effect negates your own [On Play] effects.
In the early game, focus on using cards like "OP09-095 Laffitte" that don’t have [On Play] effects, while gathering essential cards that reduce costs or provide K.O. opportunities.

The Leader "OP09-081 Marshall.D.Teach" has a powerful [Activate: Main] effect that allows you to negate your opponent's [On Play] effects for a turn in exchange for trashing 1 card from your hand.
However, using this effect recklessly can quickly deplete your hand, so consider your opponent's deck and save it for turns when your opponent is likely to use a powerful [On Play] effect.

Mid Game

Use "OP09-083 Van Augur" and "EB01-048 Laboon" to reduce the cost of your opponent's Characters, and then use the K.O. effects on "OP09-090 Doc Q" and "OP08-084 Jack" to sweep through them.
Although characters that become rested with [Activate: Main] are vulnerable to attack, "Doc Q" and "Van Augur" have [On K.O.] effects that allow you to draw cards to make up for the loss.

"OP09-086 Jesus Burgess" is a powerful attacker that cannot be K.O.'d by effects.
As the number of cards in your trash increases with your Leader effect and "OP09-096 My Era...Begins!!", your opponent will find it increasingly difficult to deal with him, whether they're using effects or attacks.

End Game

When your opponent plays a Character with [Blocker] or other troublesome effects, it's time for "OP09-093 Marshall.D.Teach" to shine.
Negating the effects and attack of a high-cost character for a turn all but ensures that your opponent will struggle to deal with this 12000 power [Blocker].

"OP09-093 Marshall.D.Teach" can also negate your opponent's Leader effect during the turn it is played.
If your opponent's Leader has an effect that's active during your turn such as with "OP05-098 Enel" or "OP07-019 Jewelry Bonney", you can negate those effects to disrupt your opponent's strategy.
