ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

An unconventional deck made up of {Cross Guild} Characters led by "Buggy". Your Leader effect will allow you to play any {Cross Guild} Characters at 5 cost—even "Buggy", which is usually a 10-cost card. Harness the power of Characters such as "Crocodile" and "Dracule Mihawk", and aim to build up an array of high-cost Characters.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

"OP09-042 Buggy" is a Leader card that allows you to play {Cross Guild} Character cards at 5 cost by trashing 1 card from your hand.
Prepare for turns in which you can use this Leader effect by building a hand that balances powerful, high-cost Characters and Characters with +2000 Counters.

Preserving your hand is crucial for using your Leader's [Activate: Main] effect.
"OP07-054 Marguerite" is a useful [Blocker] that you can play in the early game without depleting the number of cards in your hand.

Mid Game

Once you have 5 or more DON!! cards, start making use of your Leader's [Activate: Main] effect.
If you have both "OP09-046 Crocodile" and another 5-cost Character in your hand, you can bring out 2 high-power characters in a single turn.

Be careful not to overuse your Leader effect, as it can rapidly deplete your hand.
"OP09-048 Dracule Mihawk" is a 6-cost Character best played without your Leader effect when you have some DON!! cards to spare, such as on your third turn if you're playing second.

End Game

Once you have four 5-cost Characters on the field, it's time for "OP09-051 Buggy" to shine!
You can unleash this 12,000-power juggernaut for just 5 cost, while also removing one of your opponent's characters, no matter its cost.

To keep "OP09-051 Buggy" on the field, it's vital to maintain your hand and board while keeping Characters that cost 5 or more in play.
Although "OP08-047 Jozu" doesn't have the {Cross Guild} type, it's a strong Character with a cost higher than 5 that allows you to deal with your opponent's Characters while returning cards such as "OP09-056 Mr.3(Galdino)" to your hand.
