Overview of Cards Subject to Block Number Updates

July 23, 2025

Beginning April 1, 2026, the “Block Number System” will be implemented to define the card pool eligible for Championships and official tournaments based on Block Number designations.
In response to evolving player environments, the Block Numbers of certain card numbers will be updated. It will be updated accordingly.

Introduction of the Block Number System

Cards Generally Permitted in Standard Regulation

Super Parallel Rare cards from past products, as well as cards that share the same card number, will generally remain legal for use in Standard Regulation regardless of whether they have been reprinted.

Starting from April 2026, newly released Super Parallel Rare cards and cards with the same card number will be introduced with the Block Number “X”, and—like previous Super Parallel Rares—will generally be permitted for use in Standard Regulation.

Cards Eligible for Use Under Block Number ④

Regardless of reprints, these cards will be treated as belonging to the specified Block Number.
They will be legal for use in the Standard Regulation from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029.
