ST-01/02/03/04 Card Text Errata
Effect text regarding "up to" on cards from Starter Decks ST-01/02/03/04 and Booster Pack OP-01 has been adjusted for clarity and to better match the Japanese text. More details will be announced at a later date on the Errata page. The reprinting, etc. of the following errata cards are under consideration. We apologize for the inconvenience and are making efforts to improve for future card text.
In packs ST-01, ST-02, ST-03 and ST-04, outside of the excepted cards listed below, where a card’s text refers to “1” card, this is to be read as“up to 1” card.
For example, “K.O. 1 of your opponent’s Characters” is to be read as “K.O. up to 1 of your opponent’s Characters”.
The following cards are excepted from this rule:
- All “[d]raw 1 card” text
Affected cards:
- All “[y]ou may trash 1 card” text
In addition, where a card’s text states “Your Leader or 1 of your Characters”, this is to be read as “Up to 1 of your Leader or Character cards”.
For example, “Your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains +2000 power during this battle” is to be read as “Up to 1 of your Leader or Character cards gains +2000 power during this battle”.
Some cards in pack OP-01 will also be read in accordance with these errata. More details will be released at a later date.
“[P]lay 1” is to be read as “[P]lay up to 1” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Play 1 {Supernovas} type card with a cost of 2 or less from your hand.” is to be read as “Play up to 1 {Supernovas} type card with a cost of 2 or less from your hand.”
Affected cards:
“K.O. 1 of your opponent's” is to be read as “K.O. up to 1 of your opponent's”in the cards listed below.
E.g., “K.O. 1 of your opponent's Characters with 6000 power or less.” is to be read as “K.O. up to 1 of your opponent's Characters with 6000 power or less.”
“Your Leader or 1 of your Characters” is to be read as “Up to 1 of your Leader or Character cards” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Your Leader or 1 of your Characters other than this card gains +1000 power during this turn.” is to be read as “ Up to 1 of your Leader or Character cards other than this card gains +1000 power during this turn.”
“[A]dd 1...card from your DON!! deck” is to be read as “[A]dd up to 1...card from your DON!! deck ”in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Add 1 card from your DON!! deck and set it as active.” is to be read as “Add up to 1 card from your DON!! deck and set it as active.”
“[S]et 1 of your...as active” is to be read as “[S]et up to 1 of your...as active ” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Set 1 of your {Supernovas} or {Heart Pirates} type rested Characters with a cost of 5 or less as active.” is to be read as “Set up to 1 of your {Supernovas} or {Heart Pirates} type rested Characters with a cost of 5 or less as active.
Affected cards:
“[R]eveal 1” is to be read as “[R]eveal up to 1” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “...reveal 1 {Straw Hat Crew} type Character card other than [Nami] and add it to your hand.” is to be read as “...reveal up to 1 {Straw Hat Crew} type Character card other than [Nami] and add it to your hand.”
Affected cards:
“[R]eturn 1...to the owner's hand” is to be read as “[R]eturn up to 1...to the owner's hand” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Return 1 Character with a cost of 5 or less to the owner's hand.” is to be read as “Return up to 1 Character with a cost of 5 or less to the owner's hand.”
“Rest 1 of your opponent's” is to be read as “Rest up to 1 of your opponent's” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Rest 1 of your opponent's Characters with a cost of 4 or less.” is to be read as “Rest up to 1 of your opponent's Characters with a cost of 4 or less.”

“[P]lace 1...at the bottom of the owner's deck” is to be read as “[P]lace up to 1...at the bottom of the owner's deck” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Place 1 Character with a cost of 2 or less at the bottom of the owner's deck.” is to be read as “Place up to 1 Character with a cost of 2 or less at the bottom of the owner's deck.”

“[A]dd 1...from your trash to your hand” is to be read as “[A]dd up to 1...from your trash to your hand” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Add 1 {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} or {Thriller Bark Pirates} type Character with a cost of 4 or less other than [Gecko Moria] from your trash to your hand.” is to be read as “Add up to 1 {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} or {Thriller Bark Pirates} type Character with a cost of 4 or less other than [Gecko Moria] from your trash to your hand.”

“Give...1 rested DON!! card” is to be read as “Give...up to 1 rested DON!! card” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Give this Leader or 1 of your Characters 1 rested DON!! card.” is to be read as “Give this Leader or 1 of your Characters up to 1 rested DON!! card.”

“[S]elect 1 of” is to be read as “[S]elect up to 1 of” in the cards listed below.
E.g., “Select 1 of your {Straw Hat Crew} type Leader or Character cards.” is to be read as “Select up to 1 of your {Straw Hat Crew} type Leader or Character cards.”

“Trash 1 of your opponent's Life cards” is to be read as “Trash up to 1 of your opponent's cards from the top of their Life cards.” in the card listed below.
E.g., “Trash 1 of your opponent's Life cards.” is to be read as “Trash up to 1 of your opponent's Life cards.”
